Overview
Airconco UK Ltd London is a long-established and successful company based in North London looking to employ a talented Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer willing to commit to this permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Service/maintenance of single-split, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems at customer sites; diagnose faults on a wide variety of air conditioning systems (excluding fridges).
- Work on high-end residential properties; tidiness and attention to detail are essential; fluent spoken and written English.
- Servicing different types of AC systems (i.e. Cassette, Wall Mount, Low Wall Mount, VRVs, Multi-Split).
- Servicing ventilation systems (preferable).
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out recommended repairs.
- Using an electronic system to follow your schedule and fill in technician reports.
- Carrying out many different jobs throughout the day in different areas; cleanliness and organisation of the work van; reporting to the office daily.
Requirements / Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas
- Clean Full Driving Licence
- Essential qualities: hardworking, able to work in part of a team and independently, friendly and professional with customers, able to resolve unforeseen problems, a can do attitude, eye for detail, confident in using an electronic system day-to-day
- Desirable: PASMA, Ladder Association, diagnostic training from major manufacturers (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu), manufacturer-specific VRV training, experience in servicing and/or installing ventilation
Working hours & Benefits
Typical Working Hours: 7:45am – 4:15pm (including 45 minutes paid travelling time to site). Base salary £35-£45,000; potential earnings of £50,000 with overtime and bonuses. Focused in London and the Home Counties, with the majority of jobs in Central London.
