Air Charter Service is a global leader in aircraft chartering. Our Commercial Jets team specialises in arranging complex group charter solutions for a wide range of industries, including professional sports teams, touring musicians, event organisers, and many other blue-chip organisations worldwide.

We have an exciting, year-long opportunity for an undergrad student looking to gain work experience in sales within the Commercial Jets world.

Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers with their portfolio of clients
  • Develop an expert understanding of the Commercial aircraft and chartering process
  • Liaise with clients, airlines and airports
  • Assist the broker with charter bookings from enquiry to post-flight report
  • Flight watching/overseeing flight departures and flight repping
  • Ad hoc administration tasks

The Placement

  • Duration: 12 months, ideally starting August - September 2026
  • Based at our Surbiton Headquarters
  • Working hours: predominantly 09:00 - 17:30 Monday-Friday (varies with industry needs)
  • Training will be provided
  • Travel opportunities will be given

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate must be currently studying, ideally working towards a degree in Aviation, Airline, Airport or Business Management
  • An interest in sales and/or aviation is essential
  • Previous experience working in a customer facing role
  • Hardworking and flexible (this is simply not a 9-5)
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluency in a second language is an advantage
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong resilience with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible with the ability to travel often and at times, with short notice
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the job location
  • Driver's License desirable

Additional Information

  • This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, please only apply if you are available full time between September 2026 and September 2027
  • £25,000 per annum starting salary
