We are looking for a focused Junior Business Analyst to join our in-house Digital Transformation team to assist us in continuing to achieve great things. If successful, you will play an integral part in some of our largest projects supporting automation within the Business and dealing with all things technology.
Job Description
- Building knowledge of the business, its products, processes and standard operating procedures.
- Assisting with the project startup and initiation phases to help identify and document project objectives and benefits.
- Eliciting, validating and documenting business requirements for various IT products.
- Designing and recommending improvements to new and existing processes and systems.
- Producing 'as-is' and 'to-be' process maps.
- Creating wireframes and mock-ups to support the business requirements.
- Liaising with business SMEs and 3rd party suppliers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure solutions meet project objectives and deliver the best user experience.
- Raising potential project risks, issues and blockers.
- Collaborating with the wider project team members and providing support when required (including solution designing, testing, training, support etc.).
- Assisting with triaging and validating bugs.
- Contributing to knowledge sharing sessions and project retrospectives, both in products and BA techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year previous experience of working within an IT project team or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft core products.
- Knowledge of requirements eliciting techniques and project delivery methodologies (agile and waterfall) β desirable.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of creativity, adaptability and persistence.
- Energetic, passionate and driven.
