We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant to support senior members of our legal team. This is a fast‑paced and varied role requiring excellent administrative, communication, and coordination skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the legal function.

Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive PA support to senior legal team members, including complex diary management and scheduling.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the legal team, managing queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage shared mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation where required.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread reports, presentations, and legal documents.
  • Support the contract lifecycle process, including tracking, filing, and administrative coordination.
  • Arrange travel, meetings, and associated logistics.
  • Assist with policy management, record keeping, audits and information requests.
  • Support the effective use of technology including AI‑enabled tools and digital systems to improve efficiency and consistency across the wider legal team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Legal Administrator, PA, or similar administrative role (legal environment preferred).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
