eMBRAER 550 / LEGACY 500 / PRAETOR 600 Business jet aviation is a challenging and varied profession that demands a wide variety of skills. It makes for an extremely interesting and rewarding career and you should have a core passion for flying. We only employ the most talented of pilots with a wealth of previous experience and necessary licences and ratings. Safety is at the top of our list when conducting our flights and we ensure our crew are as well trained and prepared as possible. The majority of our flights are conducted under Commercial Air Transport (Part-CAT) with all of the safety margins that provides. This is a job for someone who can place safety at the core of every decision they make.
This position is based at Birmingham, UK. As a member of our Flight Crew, you will demonstrate excellent flying ability, strong interpersonal communication, and sound decision-making skills, while consistently delivering the highest level of customer care. Operating within a highly competitive market segment, exceptional service delivery and strong commercial awareness are essential. You will maintain an immaculate professional appearance at all times and uphold the highest operational and safety standards, demonstrating exceptional Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills, with customer service excellence and operational efficiency regarded as second nature, while operating the aircraft in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Company Operations Manuals, and the Aircraft Flight Manual.
This is a permanent, full-time position operating on a fixed roster of seven days on and five days off. The role primarily involves flying within Europe; however, as we hold a Worldwide Air Operator Certificate (AOC), operations outside this region may be required from time to time. Previous worldwide operational experience would therefore be considered a distinct advantage. Due to the nature of what we do, we always look for applicants who can offer flexibility where required.
Responsibilities
- Operate the aircraft in accordance with the Operations Manual, ensuring the aircraft’s maintenance state remains compliant for flight.
- Coordinate and manage team tasks to achieve safe and satisfactory outcomes, ensuring standard and emergency procedures comply with regulations both on the ground and in the air.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company Operations Manual, relevant national and international aviation law, and accepted aviation practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Business / Executive VVIP aviation background is preferred
- High operational standards, safety awareness and exceptional crew resource management skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial spirit
- Highly organised and motivated
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- UK CAA Flight Crew License, although ideally both UK and EASA FCL
- UK Class 1 aviation medical, although ideally both UK and EASA
- A minimum of 1000hrs total time
- Right to live and work in the UK
- English proficiency level 5 or above
