Reporting to the Maintenance Logistics Manager (based in Germany), the incumbent is responsible for maintaining aeronautical parts and tooling, supporting the Operation at London Heathrow, and supporting the Air Canada network across Europe and the greater network.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid full (manual) UK driver’s licence.
- Forklift licence an asset.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom unrestricted.
- Training and/or experience in inventory management and purchasing an asset.
- Ability to travel unrestricted within the UK or abroad to support AOG activities.
- Knowledge of aircraft parts preferred and knowledge of common hardware essential.
- Basic computer and data entry skills needed.
- Must have effective communication skills and the ability to interact with other departments, employees, and supervisors.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan workload and work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must be a collaborator and represent Air Canada in a professional manner.
- Wear company uniform as prescribed and conform to company grooming standards.
- Required to wear PPE in designated high-risk areas.
- Work shift work with an emphasis on flexibility to fit operational requirements, including AOG coverage when needed.
- English language is required.
