About Aios
Our overarching mission is to build the AI operating system for consumer healthcare - delivering end-to-end care with near-zero marginal human time. We believe the future of healthcare is automated, intelligent, radically lower cost, and built around the consumer. We believe biology is entering a golden age. We believe profitable, focused companies beat bloated ones. We're determined to get the humans out of healthcare - replacing slow, expensive, legacy workflows with software-driven care delivered at scale.
We’ve started by building this infrastructure to power our own brands - including Bolt Pharmacy and Fella Health, among others. Today, that infrastructure is helping patients access life-changing treatment for excess bodyweight. Over time, we’ll extend it across many of the categories that will define the next era of healthcare. Our infrastructure will have served 100 million patients worldwide by 2035. We’ll then use that infrastructure to deliver next-generation healthcare products at massive scale.
How far along are we? We’ve grown 40x over the past 12 months, now serving 100,000+ patients and surpassing $200M in annual revenue, all while staying cashflow positive. We’re a young startup and we’re just getting started. This is still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us.
We're backed by top healthcare & consumer investors:
- Y Combinator
- Global Founders Capital
- AngelList Early Stage Fund
- BrandProject
- The founders of Indeed, Curative, Alan, Kaia Health, Vouch Insurance, Not Boring

Being the UK Head of Clinical Product at Aios Medical
We're the 4th largest GLP-1 provider in the UK. By the end of this year, we'll be number one. We've got direct relationships with the major GLP-1 manufacturers, a profitable business that's compounding fast, a Silicon Valley calibre engineering team.
As UK Head of Clinical Product at Aios, powering Bolt Pharmacy, your fundamental role is to build and scale the clinical operating system that enables GLP-1 patients to move through care safely, quickly, and consistently.
You have a clinical background prescribing GLP-1s previously, but this is not a passive advisory or Superintendent Pharmacist role. You will own productisation, operational design, and team performance. We’re intense, so you’ll be intense.
You’ll lead the senior team and own the day-to-day clinical engine across >50 prescribing pharmacists and the medic team. You’ll unify Clinical, Product, and Operations to make sure prescribing frameworks are translated into clear decision trees, escalation pathways, and productised workflows that can scale to serve ≥1,000,000 patients per month.
Excellent performance in this role means clinical capacity stays ahead of growth, protocols are clear and productised, and prescriber standards remain painfully high. If you nail this role, you’ll define how modern, protocol-driven care is delivered at massive scale, and be considered for our future CPO role.
This is a senior, full-time hybrid role (willing to commute to the Blackburn area of England occasionally, minimal time on-site required). You’ll be reporting directly to Saim Dalvi, our UK Lead.
You’ll also work closely with:
- Phuong Ngyuen (Superintendent Pharmacist)
- Jordan Pellikan (Head of CX & Ops)
- Ben Dowdle (Head of Product)
- Lindsey Depledge (Patient Product Manager)
Key responsibilities
- Build and productise GLP-1 protocols
- Create and maintain scalable GLP-1 protocols to provide a better patient experience
- Reduce friction so eligible patients move through quiz, onboarding, and reordering flows compliantly and quickly
- Raise team standards
- Protect patient safety while enabling commercial scale
- Own clinical protocol adherence across the team.
- Support governance audits, training, and protocol rollouts
- Nail clinical staffing
- Ensure the right pharmacist and medic coverage is in place as volume grows
- Guide rota and capacity plans for weekdays, weekends, holidays, and spikes
- Drive clinical throughput and KPIs
- Own Return %, SLAs, escalation rates, clinician output metrics and quality analysis
- Measure output and address underperformance quickly
- Unify prescribing pathways
- Create one clear operating model across prescribing pharmacists and the medic team
- Help define which cases sit with pharmacists, medics, or escalation (senior team)
Need to have
- GPhC pharmacist (or GP) + independent prescriber: You’re a registered UK pharmacist (or GP) with an Independent Prescriber qualification. You understand what safe, defensible GLP-1 prescribing looks like in a regulated telehealth environment.
- Protocol builder: You’ve written, improved, and operationalised (preferably GLP-1) protocols before. You can turn clinical logic into clear rules, decision trees, escalation pathways, and workflows clinicians love to use.
- Product-manager: You can translate messy clinical nuance into clear product requirements. You detest both ambiguity and friction, and your prescriber team feels the same way.
- Commercial<>clinical mindset: You care a lot about safety and standards, and you also understand that protocols, staffing, and clinical friction directly affect conversion rate, retention, and commercial growth. You strike the perfect balance.
- Performance: You’re comfortable using data to manage output, challenge standards, and raise the bar. SLA, forecasting, and quality metrics are operating tools for you, not just abstract dashboards.
- Staffing + rota ownership: You’ve owned or heavily influenced clinical staffing, rota, and capacity planning. You know how to keep coverage ahead of demand across weekdays, weekends, holidays, and volume spikes. You know the best way to do this is by helping build a better product.
- Regulated healthcare judgement: You understand the realities of operating in a GPhC-regulated environment. You know when something is safe, when it is risky, and when it needs escalation.
Nice to have
- Superintendent Pharmacist background: You’ve held, deputised for, or worked closely with a Superintendent Pharmacist. You understand the pressure of maintaining safe, continuous service delivery in a regulated pharmacy—and what productising this looks like.
- CQC awareness: You understand how UK private/CQC pathways work and can partner cleanly with medic-led services, even though your core background is GPhC.
- Clinical governance exposure: You’ve supported audits, inspections, protocol reviews, and governance frameworks. You understand what “defensible” looks like under scrutiny.
- Startup pace: You’ve operated in high-velocity environments where priorities shift, ambiguity is normal, and progress matters. You move quickly, take responsibility, and do not wait to be told what is broken.
- Systems thinker: You simplify complexity, remove ambiguity, and build frameworks that scale beyond individual clinical judgement.
- Builder mode: You may have founded something previously, no matter how small.
Our cultural standards
We aim to make this your life’s work. This should be the most challenging, most rewarding role of your life. Accordingly, these are the core cultural standards to which we hold ourselves & our team-members:
- Belief in the mission: We will have served 100 million patients by the end of 2035 and we transform the life of most patients who join. We have a lot of work to do. We are obsessed with our patients and are dedicated to the mission.
- Unwavering integrity: We are at the frontier, so we often live in ambiguity with no trodden path. When we can’t look to others for guidance, we must maintain impeccable ethics and unwavering integrity.
- Only the paranoid survive: Bad sh*t is coming. By joining us, you’re choosing to sail straight towards the storms with unhesitating conviction. However much we’ve already done, however far we’ve already come — it’s still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us.
- If we’re average we fail: We are only interested in “insanely great”, a focus on the quality of our execution that in everyday life would be considered pathological. We have a dedication to excellence and reject incompetence.
- Commitment to candor: That which can be destroyed by the truth should be. You get full transparency from the company and the company expects full transparency from you. We never say anything about someone that we wouldn’t say to them directly. We give feedback with love and do not need to protect people from fleeting physical sensations.
- A maniacal sense of urgency: We execute at an intensity that most people think is impossible. Speed is critical and we need things done yesterday. We all work very hard and in such a competitive world there really is no other way to win.
- Enduring frugality: We are frugal. We hate being wasteful and we are anti-luxury. A culture of cheapness keeps us young. We spend our cash wisely & carefully — in a way that would make our grandmas proud.
- Bulldozing barriers: The world is malleable and we shape it. We truly believe this and act accordingly. We are relentlessly resourceful and are at the mercy of no-one but ourselves. You’ll be shocked how capable you are and how much you can achieve.
- Keep your head down: We’re boring people doing exciting work. We don’t chase short-term status — we ignore short-term dopamine hits and focus on what matters. Outsiders will underestimate us and we revel in that.
- The power of focus: We live in a world of power laws and we cannot overestimate the unimportance of practically everything. Know your One Thing, and nail it.
