As a Product Designer at Aios Medical, you will take on a senior, high-ownership role in product design. You’ll be stepping into a product that has grown fast and needs stronger design leadership, judgment, and structure. You will own projects end-to-end, taking loosely defined problems, talking to the right people, understanding workflows and constraints, and shipping solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design ownership: Take ownership of design work across products and run projects independently, from problem definition to shipped solution.
  • Customer apps: Design and improve customer-facing web and mobile app experiences.
  • Internal tools & workflows: Work on internal products used by clinical, ops, enrolment, and CX teams, focusing on workflow, usability, and efficiency.
  • Complex problem solving: Work on products with real commercial and regulatory constraints.
  • Business & user understanding: Start from the business problem and the user need.
  • End-to-end project ownership: Lead projects independently, including discovery, talking to users or internal teams, defining the solution, and shipping it.
  • Clear communication: Articulate your thinking, defend decisions, and hold your ground in discussions.
  • Hands-on leadership: Help shape how design works and support other designers as the team grows.

Need to have:

  • Experience: 3+ years designing digital products across web or mobile.
  • Robust Portfolio: Show real product work that demonstrates your design taste.
  • Ownership: Take loosely defined problems and run with them.
  • Craft: Care about clarity and usability more than surface-level polish.
  • Clear thinking & communication: Explain what problem you were solving and why.

Nice to have:

  • Formal or equivalent design training.
  • Experience working in regulated and complex products.
  • Design that gets built: Comfortable working with engineers and thinking through implementation details.

Our cultural standards:

  • Belief in the mission: Transform the life of most patients who join.
  • Unwavering integrity: Maintain impeccable ethics and integrity.
  • Only the paranoid survive: Choose to sail towards challenges with conviction.
  • If we’re average we fail: Focus on quality execution.
  • Commitment to candor: Full transparency expected.
  • A maniacal sense of urgency: Execute with intensity.
  • Enduring frugality: Spend wisely and carefully.
  • Bulldozing barriers: Shape the world with resourcefulness.
  • Keep your head down: Focus on what matters.
  • The power of focus: Know your One Thing and nail it.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation: $90,000-$150,000 (inc equity).
  • Healthcare: Comprehensive medical insurance.
  • Vacation: PTO with a yearly minimum (≥2wks/yr + local national holidays).
  • Remote: Fully distributed team.
  • Personal development: Budget for books, courses, coaching ($1200/yr).
  • Personal wellness: Budget for gym, health apps ($1200/yr).
  • Coaching: Free biweekly health coaching.
  • Equipment: Macbook & work-from-home equipment provided as needed.

We’re still early so you get to shape our culture.
