As a Product Designer at Aios Medical, you will take on a senior, high-ownership role in product design. You’ll be stepping into a product that has grown fast and needs stronger design leadership, judgment, and structure. You will own projects end-to-end, taking loosely defined problems, talking to the right people, understanding workflows and constraints, and shipping solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design ownership: Take ownership of design work across products and run projects independently, from problem definition to shipped solution.
- Customer apps: Design and improve customer-facing web and mobile app experiences.
- Internal tools & workflows: Work on internal products used by clinical, ops, enrolment, and CX teams, focusing on workflow, usability, and efficiency.
- Complex problem solving: Work on products with real commercial and regulatory constraints.
- Business & user understanding: Start from the business problem and the user need.
- End-to-end project ownership: Lead projects independently, including discovery, talking to users or internal teams, defining the solution, and shipping it.
- Clear communication: Articulate your thinking, defend decisions, and hold your ground in discussions.
- Hands-on leadership: Help shape how design works and support other designers as the team grows.
Need to have:
- Experience: 3+ years designing digital products across web or mobile.
- Robust Portfolio: Show real product work that demonstrates your design taste.
- Ownership: Take loosely defined problems and run with them.
- Craft: Care about clarity and usability more than surface-level polish.
- Clear thinking & communication: Explain what problem you were solving and why.
Nice to have:
- Formal or equivalent design training.
- Experience working in regulated and complex products.
- Design that gets built: Comfortable working with engineers and thinking through implementation details.
