Join a global financial services firm in a London based EMEA Corporate Credit team within Risk Management. This role supports Infrastructure, Acquisition Leveraged Finance, and corporate derivatives activity across EMEA, with responsibility for credit due diligence, underwriting risk assessment, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
What you will do
- Conduct credit analysis on new loans and derivatives, including business review, financial modelling, stress testing, and downside cases.
- Partner closely with origination teams, challenge assumptions, and present clear credit views in approval forums.
- Assess structure, pricing, documentation, mitigants, and syndication risk.
- Write credit risk memoranda focused on key risks and mitigants, and brief senior stakeholders when needed.
- Support portfolio management and deliver ad hoc analysis and presentations.
- Expand coverage over time into adjacent areas such as short term corporate financing, private credit, fund financing, and stock lending.
What you bring
- Experience in corporate credit from a risk function, deal team, rating agency, or credit investing environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, cash flow lending, and transaction structures.
- Confidence to form independent credit views, defend them, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Infrastructure exposure is welcome but not required.
- CFA, MBA, Masters, or similar qualification is a plus.
