Reports to: Marketing Communications Manager

About the Role:

This role sits at the heart of an exciting new venture between Jameel Motors and GAC, established to introduce the AION range of intelligent electric vehicles to the UK market.

As part of the launch team, you will help establish and grow AION Auto UK combining GAC’s cutting-edge EV innovation with Jameel Motors’ deep automotive expertise to deliver a new benchmark in electric mobility.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the brand’s presence from the ground up - contributing to strategy, execution, and the creation of a customer experience that reflects the innovation, intelligence, and ambition behind AION.

Role Overview:

The Marketing Executive will join the AION marketing team, helping to deliver impactful campaigns through social media, partnerships, events and engaging content. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven marketing professional who enjoys combining creativity with commercial thinking and wants to make a real impact within a fast-paced automotive business.

You’ll help grow brand awareness, drive customer engagement and support demand generation, while ensuring our retail partners continue to see the value of being connected to a trusted, visible and market-leading brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of integrated national marketing campaigns across digital and Above the Line platforms




• Manage PPC copy and content, ensuring it is always up to date and effective in driving website traffic and lead conversions




• Monitor weekly campaign performance, use insights to optimise results and prepare presentations of campaigns and results




• Support the PR & Events Manager in delivering media events, dealer meetings and conferences, fleet and leasing events, and customer experiences




• Collaborate with relevant team members to support sponsorships, ambassador programmes and strategic partnerships




• Support the Marketing Communications Manager in creating compelling content across national communications, social media, digital and email, for both national and dealer campaigns




• Manage the content asset library for all national, experiential, social and partnership content




• Manage AION Auto UK’s organic social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube), including content approval, publishing, reporting and performance analysis, ensuring compliance with brand and legal requirements




• Assist the Dealer Marketing Manager with tracking and reporting of co-funded marketing activities and the creation of dealer marketing assets




• Track all Purchase Orders and the marketing budget, working with the Marketing Communications Manager to ensure tight budget monitoring




• Work closely with agencies, suppliers and internal teams, managing projects from brief to delivery and ensuring high-quality execution
