This role sits at the centre of finance operations and reporting, bridging strategic direction and execution. With the CFO focused on strategic priorities and transformation, and senior resource partially allocated to the JV, this position will play a critical role in strengthening execution capability — particularly during system implementation and go‑live.
You will take ownership of management accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and general ledger integrity, ensuring robust financial control within a fast‑paced start‑up environment. This role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented accountant who can operate with autonomy, think critically through complex accounting matters, and contribute to building scalable finance processes from the ground up.

You will play a key role in shaping the finance function from inception — contributing to financial governance, reporting excellence, and operational readiness during a critical system implementation phase. This is more than a role in a new company; it’s an opportunity to be part of a defining moment in the UK’s transition to intelligent, sustainable mobility.
