As part of the team, you will help establish and grow AION Auto UK combining GAC’s cutting-edge EV innovation with Jameel Motors’ deep automotive expertise to deliver a new benchmark in electric mobility.
As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in launching AION Auto in the UK, driving both Retail and Fleet performance across your territory. The role spans both Retail and Fleet channels; experience in high-volume, multi-stakeholder Fleet environments is especially valuable and strong Retail capability is fundamental to the position.
You’ll act as the primary relationship manager for a growing network of Regional Partners, building strong, supportive relationships whilst balancing your focus on new business wins. Build strong relationships with Regional Partners and Fleet customers, maintaining high visibility across your territory through regular visits and hands-on support.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies across Retail and Fleet channels, ensuring retailers meet agreed volume and sales targets. Monitor retailer KPIs and performance trends, providing coaching, commercial support and clear actions to drive improvement.
Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting, using insights on market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions. Work collaboratively with Marketing, Network Development, Aftersales and wider teams to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach across the business.
Previous Automotive OEM experience managing retailer networks, or strong dealership experience with exposure to Retail and Fleet channels. Solid background in Fleet sales, with confidence operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and managing high-volume opportunities.
Strong understanding of Retail sales operations, funding methods, leasing, and UK taxation regulations that influence customer purchasing behaviour. Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse performance data, negotiate commercial terms and drive partner profitability.
