We are looking for someone to provide high quality technical and administrative support to the Commercial Motor Underwriters, external Brokers and corporate Insureds, by the timely and accurate completion of policy documentation and other varied administrative tasks throughout the lifetime of each policy. Delivering services in line with service level agreements, providing a solid foundation for the delivery of the Commercial Motor business plan, enabling the Underwriters to focus on the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing business. Acting as a first point of contact for Underwriters, external Brokers and corporate Insureds via various channels including e-mail, inbound and outbound calls. CHALLENGED NOW AND-EXPERT NEXT. Responsibilities: – Ensuring all renewal preparatory work is completed within pre-renewal period. – Policy debiting producing policy documents, certificates and other mandatory documents for all New Business and Renewals. – Making policy and premium adjustments where required, producing new certificates and endorsements/schedules to meet individual client needs. – Assimilating often fragmented and inconsistent data provided by Brokers into a meaningful set of declared changes. – Undertake all aspects of Fleet Credit Control including preparing and reconciling statements, allocation of monies received, ensuring payment plans via direct debit are set up for Commercial Insured and proactively chasing Brokers and insured when any payments are missed. – Maintaining accurate control data and using various channels, where required, to chase up on Renewals that are due. – Complete all associated administration tasks in relation to the timely and accurate processing and recording of all business written in the underwriting area in both a timely and accurate manner to ensure the meeting of business plan objectives and underwriting service standards. – Being available at all times to deal with inbound and outbound calls, emails or messages from the internal underwriting team or external brokers. – Primary point of contact for any insureds who are having trouble, or require help with using the Fleet vehicle MID application. – Ensure the daily Policy extract from CMP is loaded into the MID extranet application in a timely manner each day. – Conduct yourself positively and professionally to present yourself as an ambassador for the company. – You operate within the rules and requirements of the FCA and any other legal, regulatory and risk management frameworks, ensuring all changes, new changes and procedures are implemented, understood, and adhered to. Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications: * Good level of verbal and written communication skills. * Basic telephony skills * Insurance experience providing technical and administrative support of 1 year+ * Basic Credit Control skills * A positive approach to providing excellent customer service. * Proactive, use initiative and problem-solving. * Attention to detail and a systematic approach to all tasks given within agreed SLA\’s. * Actively seeks to develop skills and knowledge, striving to reach maximum potential as an individual and within a team. * Trustworthy and approachable, ensuring confidentiality at all times. * Ability and drive to work towards achieving monthly SLA\’s and daily/weekly deadlines. * A demonstrable skill / knowledge in each of the following areas is essential: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
