We are supporting a children’s residential care provider with several exciting vacancies across London, Lancaster, Doncaster, Bristol and Carlisle. These roles offer strong salaries, clear bonus structures, supportive on-call arrangements and excellent progression opportunities. Homes range from solo-bed to multi-bed services, including new openings and established Ofsted-rated settings.

Requirements About You

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager within children’s residential care
  • Proven ability to lead a staff team, manage performance, and maintain a positive culture
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
  • Experience supporting children with EBD needs (solo or multi-bed homes)
  • Skilled in developing care plans, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality documentation
  • Comfortable with on-call responsibilities (varies by role)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with external agencies, families, and professionals

Qualifications Required

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare - essential or willingness to work towards
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
  • Full UK driving licence (required for most roles)
