Working from our well established branch in Glasgow [Bellshill] you will be involved in all movements of plant equipment. Work closely as per risk assessments and method statements, ensuring all company and client rules are adhered to. Actively engage with management in the planning and organising and delivery of work. AIS Vanguard is a well equipped business that holds a large stock of specialized lifting and installation equipment designed to carry out our specialized tasks allowing us to carry out our duties safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely loading and securing goods on the vehicle
  • Planning delivery routes and schedules
  • Comply with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and site policies
  • Provide excellent service to all internal and external customers
  • Staying aware of all route diversions and updates to your delivery journey
  • Complete daily safety checks and relevant documentation
  • Maintain tools, PPE, and equipment in good condition
  • Present yourself and AIS Vanguard professionally at all times

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Practical experience in rigging, slinging or machinery moving
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated with 'can-do' attitude
  • Full UK Driving License

Qualifications

  • Slinger / Signaller
  • Forklift Truck and MEWP licence
  • CSCS or equivalent safety card
