As a Rigger/Machine Mover, you will work as part of a skilled project team to install, move, and remove industrial machinery and equipment. You will handle lifting operations, mechanical assembly/disassembly, and plant relocation tasks - supporting the Foreman and team to complete projects safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out machinery installations, removal and relocation projects
  • Operate lifting, jacking systems, skating and hoisting systems safely and correctly
  • Assist with assembly/disassembly of plant, machinery, and equipment
  • Work according to approved RAMS and site safety standards
  • Support the Foreman in achieving daily work targets and maintaining quality
  • Complete daily safety checks and relevant documentation
  • Maintain tools, PPE, and equipment in good condition
  • Present yourself and AIS Vanguard professionally at all times

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Practical experience in rigging, slinging or machinery moving
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated with 'can-do' attitude
  • Full UK Driving License

Qualifications

  • Slinger / Signaller
  • Forklift Truck and MEWP licence
  • CSCS or equivalent safety card
