What you'll be doing

Working as part of our experienced engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of mobile cranes, ensuring they remain safe, compliant and ready to support our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, inspecting and repairing mobile cranes and associated equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Responding to breakdowns and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and inspection documentation.
  • Working closely with operational teams to plan maintenance activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and engineering performance.

About you

We're looking for engineers who enjoy fault-finding, problem-solving and working with heavy equipment. You'll ideally have experience working within one or more of the following industries:

  • Mobile Cranes
  • Agricultural Machinery
  • Heavy Plant
  • Construction Equipment
  • Quarry or Mining Equipment
  • Material Handling Equipment
  • HGVs or Commercial Vehicles
  • Military Vehicles
  • Heavy Industrial Machinery

You'll also have:

  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic engineering skills.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • A commitment to working safely and delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Salary: Hourly rate £19.58 to £21.45 (39 hours per week)
