Ainscough Crane Hire is looking for a proactive QHSE Co-Ordinator to join our Head Office team in Standish. The role
This is a varied role where you’ll help maintain our QHSE systems, support reporting processes, coordinate audits and accreditations, and provide vital administrative support to the wider QHSE function. You’ll be working closely with teams across the business to ensure our safety, quality and compliance standards remain industry‑leading.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating our Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Monitoring accident, incident and near miss reporting
- Producing QHSE reports for management and board meetings
- Collating monthly regional QHSE data
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Managing company accreditations and certifications
- Coordinating compliance documentation and questionnaires
- Managing reporting systems including AssessNet and Power BI uploads
- Supporting property compliance inspections and testing
- Assisting with QHSE input for commercial bids and tenders
- Processing invoices and purchase orders
- Reviewing supply chain pre‑approval submissions
- Acting as a key point of contact for day‑to‑day QHSE queries across the business
- Supporting Head Office facilities compliance
- Acting as First Aider and Fire Marshal for Head Office
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to develop their career within QHSE. You’ll ideally have:
- IOSH Managing Safely and/or ISO Internal Auditor qualification (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A collaborative, team‑focused approach
- A genuine interest in developing within the QHSE field
