We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Regional Projects Sales Manager to join our National Projects team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to take ownership of major project opportunities across the region, developing long-term customer relationships and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and increase revenue across major projects within the Southern Region.
  • Manage a portfolio of project-based customers whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of customer organisations.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional and Area Sales Managers to maximise opportunities on project sites.
  • Own and manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and develop a robust pipeline of future project opportunities.
  • Research and target key growth sectors and major projects within the region.
  • Attend networking events, industry exhibitions and project launches to promote Ainscough Crane Hire.
  • Support operational and technical teams in developing cost-effective lifting solutions for customers.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting and pipeline reporting for all major project opportunities.
  • Lead monthly project forecasting reviews and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure opportunities and customer activity are accurately recorded within company systems and in line with best practice guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across sales and operational processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a business development, sales or account management role.
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects or key accounts would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with operational, technical and senior management teams.
  • Full UK driving licence.
