Established over 25 years ago, Cowley Resident Management Organisation (RMO) runs a mixed tenure estate of 560 properties in South London. About the role
You will be a pivotal point of contact between our tenants and internal teams, working alongside colleagues to manage our portfolio of properties and take full responsibility for all aspects of planning, resident engagement and the upholding tenancy terms and conditions. This includes responsibility for letting empty properties and the recovery of arrears. It will be important to build effective relationships with all teams in Cowley to ensure we provide a joined-up housing service. You will work with your team to manage anti-social behaviour cases and positively contribute to our community development and engagement agenda. You will be tasked with producing and delivering a service plan for the organisation with clear targets and performance indicators, as well as developing a strategy for managing anti-social behaviour.
About you
- Comprehensive knowledge of housing management and a recognised qualification issued by the CIH.
- Experience gained in a senior leadership role in a social housing setting.
- Knowledge of issues affecting the provision of a customer focused service to a diverse community and key issues concerning local government and social housing.
- Knowledge of tenancy conditions and arrears recovery procedures.
- Able to lead and chair meetings with multiple stakeholder audiences, including preparation of agendas, schedules and supporting documentation.
- Ability to manipulate data and numbers to create reports, updates, schedules and budget documents.
- Effective oral communication, with ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner, leading, coaching and developing the team around you.
