Were working with an established technology consultancy that is looking to add a Technical Account Manager to its client-facing team.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys being close to customers, understands technology and likes getting involved in the bigger picture.

Youll work with a portfolio of clients, helping them make better use of their technology estate while coordinating closely with consultants, developers, architects and delivery teams.

The successful candidate will be comfortable having conversations with both senior business stakeholders and technical specialists.

You will need have enough technical understanding to discuss CRM, data, integrations, APIs, cloud platforms and software solutions with confidence.

The opportunity You'll become a key point of contact for a number of clients, developing relationships over the long term rather than simply managing individual projects.

Your role will involve understanding what each organisation is trying to achieve, identifying where technology can help, and ensuring the internal teams working with those customers remain focused on the right priorities.

There is also a commercial element to the position.

You'll be expected to recognise where additional services or improvements could benefit a client and work alongside the wider team to develop those opportunities.

What you'll be doing Take ownership of relationships across a portfolio of important customers Build credibility with senior IT, operational and commercial stakeholders Act as a senior point of contact when customers need advice, clarification or support Understand customer objectives and translate them into practical technology priorities Coordinate with consultants, developers, architects and delivery specialists Keep visibility across projects, support services and consultancy activity Identify potential delivery, technical or relationship issues before they become problems Help customers understand progress, decisions, risks and recommended next steps Contribute to technology planning and longer-term customer roadmaps Participate in account reviews and strategic customer meetings Identify opportunities to improve existing solutions or introduce additional services Support proposals, commercial discussions, renewals and statements of work Ensure customer expectations are understood and delivered against internally
The role will involve knowledge around areas such as: CRM platforms and business applications Data structures and data management APIs and system integration Cloud technology Application and solution architecture Reporting and analytics Data security and governance Software development and delivery
Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or Hub Spot would be useful, although experience with one particular product isn't essential.

We're particularly interested in people who understand how different technologies fit together and can explain technical issues clearly to people who aren't technical specialists.
