Aimtech Recruitment is recruiting for an Account Manager on behalf of a consultancy delivering data, CRM and technology services.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys building client relationships and taking responsibility for getting work delivered. Youll manage day-to-day client communication, turn business requirements into practical briefs and coordinate specialists across several projects.

The role combines account management, project coordination and commercial awareness. Youll help clients get value from existing services while identifying opportunities to develop the relationship further.

The opportunity

Youll be the person clients turn to for progress updates, questions and support. Working closely with senior account colleagues and delivery teams, youll keep priorities clear, resolve issues and ensure commitments are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with client stakeholders and understanding their business objectives.
  • Running briefing sessions and translating requirements into clear actions, deliverables and success measures.
  • Coordinating work across data, technology and consulting teams, keeping projects on schedule and within agreed budgets.
  • Maintaining delivery plans, tracking dependencies and communicating risks before they affect client commitments.
  • Managing changes to project requirements, ensuring the impact on costs, resources and deadlines is agreed and documented.
  • Preparing proposals, project updates and review materials that explain progress and demonstrate business value.
  • Monitoring project expenditure, resource requirements and profitability, providing accurate information for forecasting.
  • Supporting account reviews and identifying opportunities for additional services or wider client engagement.
  • Working with technical colleagues and external suppliers on integrations, data requirements, testing and service quality.
  • Keeping account records and delivery documentation accurate and supporting improvements to internal processes.

What were looking for

Youll bring experience in account management, client services or project delivery, ideally within a consultancy, agency or technology services business.

Were particularly interested in candidates who offer:

  • A track record of managing client relationships alongside the delivery of multiple pieces of work.
  • The ability to gather requirements, ask useful questions and produce clear briefs.
  • Confidence working with technical specialists and explaining their recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Commercial awareness, including an understanding of budgets, project scope and the financial impact of additional work.
  • Clear presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to manage expectations at different levels of seniority.
  • Familiarity with CRM, customer data, analytics or related business applications.

Experience coordinating testing, working across different project delivery approaches or supporting account growth would also be useful. An understanding of data protection considerations and how systems exchange information would be beneficial.

All applications will be reviewed based on merit, relevant experience, and suitability for the role.
