We are partnering with a leading organisation seeking a Snowflake specialist to help modernise and scale their data capability. This is a delivery-focused role where you will shape cloud data architecture, lead migrations, and build high-performance data pipelines that directly support business-critical decision making.

The Opportunity

  • Take ownership of Snowflake environments from design through to optimisation, ensuring data is structured, accessible and engineered for performance.
  • Work across technical and business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, resilient data solutions that support analytics, reporting and operational insight.
  • Architect and optimise Snowflake data platforms.
  • Lead data ingestion, transformation and consumption strategies.
  • Deliver complex data migrations into Snowflake.
  • Design robust data models and warehousing solutions.
  • Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines.
  • Drive best practice across modern data tooling and ELT frameworks.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with commercial objectives.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong hands-on Snowflake engineering capability.
  • Experience operating within retail banking or financial services environments.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and modelling techniques.
  • Advanced SQL expertise and practical experience with ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience working within AWS cloud environments.
  • A track record of delivering successful Snowflake migration programmes.
  • Confidence engaging with business users and translating technical concepts clearly.

Working Model: Hybrid role with 2-3 days per week onsite. Travel across the UK required to support client delivery.
