Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with advisers to understand client objectives and gather any additional information required to complete suitability assessments.
- Review fact-find data to develop a clear picture of each client's overall financial position.
- Investigate client queries thoroughly and provide clear, accurate responses.
- Carry out comparative analysis to support well-informed client recommendations.
- Conduct technical research as part of reviewing existing financial arrangements.
- Perform tax planning assessments where appropriate.
- Create and interpret cash flow models to support financial planning advice.
- Prepare client suitability reports and correspondence within agreed timeframes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Produce annual review reports and client communications in line with agreed service levels.
- Ensure all client-related work meets regulatory standards and is supported by appropriate documentation.
- Adhere at all times to the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and relevant Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules and principles.
- Support positive client outcomes by following internal compliance policies and procedures, including those relating to financial crime prevention (e.g. anti-money laundering, data protection, fraud, and anti-bribery).
- Stay informed of relevant developments in products, legislation, and technical guidance.
- Maintain the required level of professional competence for the role.
- Complete and accurately record ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
Skills and Experience
- Holds a Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good planning and coordination skills.
