Suntory Global Spirits is building a global Ready-to-Drink platform with the ambition to become a category leader. This role sits at the centre of that agenda. This is a senior director level appointment with global scope, with responsibility for defining and scaling an RTD portfolio across international markets outside the US. The role will bring structure, clarity, and consistency to a portfolio that is currently evolving across markets.
You will lead the development of the RTD marketing agenda across international markets, working closely with innovation, supply chain, and regional teams. You will define portfolio strategy, establish clear brand positioning and guardrails, and create the frameworks and ways of working required to align markets that are currently operating with a high degree of independence. Operating in a matrix environment, this role requires strong influence and the ability to translate direction into effective local execution across diverse markets. This is an opportunity to shape and build a global RTD marketing capability from the ground up, with scope to define structure, ways of working, and team as the platform scales.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead RTD portfolio strategy across international markets (excluding the US)
- Establish brand positioning, architecture, and playbooks to drive consistency
- Partner with innovation and supply chain to bring new products to market at pace
- Identify growth opportunities through consumer, customer, and market insight
- Align regional and functional teams behind a clear direction
- Enable markets to execute effectively through tools, frameworks, and guidance
- Monitor performance and adapt strategy to deliver growth
Profile
- Operating at senior director level within a leading beverage alcohol organisation or closely related category
- Deep experience in RTD, beer, cider, or adjacent alcohol categories, with clear exposure to route-to-market, channel dynamics, and regulatory considerations
- Proven track record across multiple markets or in international roles
- Strong background in portfolio strategy, brand building, and innovation within beverage alcohol
- Comfortable operating without established structure or large teams
- High EQ with the ability to influence across markets and functions
- Low ego, hands-on, and comfortable owning delivery as well as strategy
