We're Hiring! Aims Care is looking for a reliable, proactive, and motivated Maintenance Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with maintenance experience who enjoys practical problem‑solving and takes pride in maintaining high‑quality environments.

Location: Epsom and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work across multiple sites.
  • Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
  • Perform basic repairs including painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any concerns to management.
  • Liaise professionally with colleagues, contractors, and service users when required.
  • Assist with property improvements, refurbishments, and preventative maintenance programmes.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
  • Graduate qualification or previous maintenance experience.
  • Practical hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
  • Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property services.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or decorating work.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Experience working within residential, healthcare, or supported living environments.
