We're Hiring! Aims Care is looking for a reliable, proactive, and motivated Maintenance Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with maintenance experience who enjoys practical problem‑solving and takes pride in maintaining high‑quality environments.
Location: Epsom and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across multiple sites.
- Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
- Perform basic repairs including painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any concerns to management.
- Liaise professionally with colleagues, contractors, and service users when required.
- Assist with property improvements, refurbishments, and preventative maintenance programmes.
- Graduate qualification or previous maintenance experience.
- Practical hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property services.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or decorating work.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Experience working within residential, healthcare, or supported living environments.
