Responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound requests from internal teams such as Sales, Account Managers and Broker Support, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and service level agreements.
- Conduct customer due diligence, including risk assessments, verification of beneficial ownership and validation of identity and address documents.
- Prepare and issue finance and securing documentation in line with credit approvals, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Complete pre-payout checks, ensuring agreement and asset details are accurately captured in the lending system before funds release.
- Maintain accurate system updates and communicate application status as needed.
- Provide clear, prompt assistance to internal teams, customers, brokers and suppliers via phone and email, escalating complex issues where required.
- Work effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving for brokers and customers.
- Process payments to suppliers and intermediaries in a timely and compliant manner.
- Manage post-execution tasks, including portal updates, security registration, welcome documentation, and allocation of deposits.
- Keep accurate record of customer interactions and transactions using our internal system.
- Provide overflow and contingency cover to the customer services team.
Requirements:
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Proven experience of working proactively and taking initiative.
- An ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Numerate with analytical ability.
- Able to engage with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and other internal departments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
- Worked with customers, demonstrating high standards of service and providing excellent customer outcomes.
- Previous knowledge and experience of the Financial Services Industry and similar operational or customer-facing roles.
- Previous knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance Industry.
