We are looking for a talented Director who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to tackle complex challenges. The role in Financial Solutions goes beyond the numbers – it is about building meaningful client relationships, understanding their businesses, navigating risks, and delivering insights that drive real results.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire new business from the company offices within your designated area and generate your own introductions from a range of introducers.
- Manage the transition of each prospect to a client and manage those clients whom you obtained funding for, ensuring that the facilities run smoothly.
- Mediating on the clients’ behalf with funders where necessary and, when a client terminates a facility, act on their behalf to obtain an alternative funding solution.
- Explain clearly to staff what funding options are available to their clients and why you have chosen to place business with a specific funder.
- Present to company partners, networking events and seminars to build the company brand.
- Liaise with the Directors on an ongoing basis to provide input into the future direction and growth of the Company.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Quickly gain a clear understanding of a prospect’s business and funding needs to ensure the correct funder is utilized.
- Understand and identify available funding solutions in the market.
- Present suitable solutions to prospects and articulate benefits.
- Provide strategic guidance on debt structures.
- Collate client information and package it for lenders.
- Liaise between prospect and funder to ensure smooth completion of transactions within appropriate time frames.
- Ensure appropriate agreements are in place.
- Excellent sales negotiation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Financially literate and able to interpret financial statements.
- Prior experience using a CRM system to plot and proactively manage client progress.
- Proven ability to deliver sales targets within an agreed time frame.
- Communicate the core values of the company.
- Create satisfactory presentation material for internal and external presentations.
- Stay abreast of and report on all available funding options in the marketplace.
