The business is looking for a proactive and organised Marketing & Events Coordinator who will support the Business Development and HR teams in the planning and execution of external expos and internal events, as well as production of branded marketing and internal and external collateral. This is a varied role that spans event logistics, merchandise ordering, vendor coordination, and design-support for campaigns, brochures and internal communications.

Key responsibilities are (but not limited to):

  • Lead the organisation of our expo-type events: liaise with external teams and venues, coordinate with the BD team on event logistics, manage merchandise orders/distribution, attend events on-site to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support internal social and corporate events in collaboration with HR: obtain quotes, book venues, manage guest lists and logistics.
  • Manage branded merchandise for both event use and office use: sourcing, ordering, stock control and distribution of items aligned with brand identity.
  • Support design-execution for marketing collateral (not copywriting): work with HR and BD teams to design email templates, sales brochures, PowerPoint presentations and internal campaign communications; ensure on-brand visuals, formats and timely completion.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders (HR, BD, Marketing) and external suppliers/venues/merchandise vendors: manage timelines, ensure budgets are met, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Uphold the brand’s tone and visual identity in all collateral and merchandise.
  • Occasionally handle ad-hoc promotional or brand-support tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent project-management and organisational skills, comfortable juggling multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills—able to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Good design literacy: competent in tools like MS PowerPoint, Figma, Canva.
  • Prior experience in event coordination and merchandise/logistics management.
  • Understanding of brand identity guidelines and how to apply them across collateral.
  • Comfortable working on-site at events (which may involve some travel and occasional extended hours around event dates).
  • Ability to manage budgets and track spend related to events and merchandise.
  • Experience supporting internal marketing or HR communications.
