Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a northern based Debt team. You\’ll be supporting the team with investing into businesses from our Debt Fund, in the Yorkshire and attened region.

You would be expected to be fully mobile and travel to other offices and investee companies as required.

The Responsibilities

  • Supporting the completion of investments including preparation of investment documentation, management of the due diligence process, AML documentation and coordination of the legal agreements.
  • Initially with support if needed, identifying, selecting and appraising suitable investment loans to achieve annual investment targets for the fund.
  • Supporting business development activities and self‑generating proposals, building new relationships and actively promoting the fund.
  • Ensuring that service level standards and turnaround times are always met.
  • Ensuring that regulatory and customer requirements are always complied with.
  • Preparing internal and external reports to key stakeholders.
  • Supporting the post‑investment monitoring of investments.

The Requirements

  • Ideally you have a lending and/or regulatory background.
  • With team support to get up to speed, you are a self‑starter with the ability to multi‑task.
  • You are commercially aware and can demonstrateੈਂa sound level of judgment.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, with a high level of financial awareness.
  • You are an effective networker, able to build good relationships with our investees, clients and contacts.
  • Being a good team player goes without saying here.
  • You are a confident communicator both verbally and in written work.
  • Given the nature of this role, you must be fully mobile and posses a valid UK driving licence.
  • A working knowledge of CRM systems/databases and Microsoft Office products is helpful.
