The Role The underwriter will play a critical role in assessing, structuring, and approving credit applications, ensuring that new and existing facilities are delivered within delegated authority limits and aligned with the Group's risk appetite. Working closely with Sales and Sales Support teams, the Underwriter will analyse financial information, evaluate credit risk, and make informed decisions that balance business growth with the protection of the loan book. This role requires a confident decision-maker with strong commercial awareness, financial analysis skills, and the ability to deliver consistent, robust credit decisions. The successful candidate will take ownership of opportunities, proactively engaging with Introducers and Sales Managers to progress applications while maintaining high standards of service.
