The Sales Support Executive plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new clients. Working closely with Regional Sales Directors, the position is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to prospects or introducers as required. This role centres on managing post-sale activities and supporting administrative tasks essential to client onboarding. It requires a proactive, organised approach to meet strict deadlines and maintain the highest standards of service. A self-starter with strong multitasking skills and a positive attitude will thrive in this position, helping to uphold the business's reputation and deliver excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Commercial Sales Team in a variety of new business administrative tasks.
- Updating Salesforce with new business leads generated by the Regional Sales Directors and assisting with continued updates in Salesforce throughout the prospect journey.
- Completion of debtor assessment packs.
- Document packs liaise with the securities team regarding dispatch and prospects regarding completion and return.
- Ownership of the Approved Pipeline Spreadsheet to enhance the onboarding process.
- Assist with obtaining all pre-conditions including deed of priorities/waivers, 3rd party legal advice, re-surveys and any further prospect information.
- Ensure debtor verification is ongoing and speak with the DV team to progress matters.
- Assist with the onboarding process including ensuring installs are booked, ledgers obtained and inter-factor requirements are met.
- Client Services update the wider Client Services teams (Underwriters, Client Managers, BDP Team, Securities) of the progress of onboarding.
- Introduce yourself and liaise regularly with New Prospects to ensure they have provided the documents and any additional information required for onboarding, and keep them updated throughout.
- Completion of costings and drafting indicative offers when RSDs are unable.
- Comply with money laundering regulations relating to the acquisition of New Business.
- Provide support at events. There may be a requirement to attend these events from time to time throughout the year.
- In conjunction with RSDs develop ongoing professional relationships with third party introducers.
- Attend new business and introducer meetings from time to time.
- Assist with process improvements.
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of customer/client onboarding.
- Experience of working in a highly targeted environment alongside salespeople.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and clients at all levels.
- Highly organised, able to balance multiple tasks and prioritise own time.
- Strong initiative with good problem-solving skills.
