Assist Activity Coordinators with the daily delivery of creative, wellbeing and community-based sessions. Support individuals during sessions to engage meaningfully and safely. Promote individual goals and personal development in line with support plans. Encourage independence, choice and participation in all activities. Provide input into the design and evaluation of sessions. Support in maintaining a safe and positive environment for all service users. Actively contribute to team planning, reflection and development. Carry out any additional duties as delegated by the Activity Coordinators or Service Manager.
Communication
- Build positive, supportive relationships with clients, parents/carers, and the wider AIM team.
- Adapt communication methods to suit individual needs.
- Support with liaison between FLAiM, carers, families, and external professionals as needed.
- Attend review meetings and contribute relevant updates where appropriate.
Administration & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate session records, support logs and incident forms using digital platforms (Ninox, Google Docs).
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed and recorded.
- Complete session planning paperwork and resource preparation in advance of delivery.
- Help update personal progress notes and monitor engagement.
- Support with evaluation of sessions by updating review forms and recording outcomes.
Organisational Engagement
- Attend team meetings, training, and supervisions.
- Uphold and promote the values of FLAiM and AIMCommunity.
- Participate in wider organisational events and initiatives when required.
- Support promotional activities and fundraising as appropriate.
