A day in the life of… As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of operational departments within the hotel to include Reception & Night, Housekeeping, F&B as well as Conference & Events, Kitchen and Leisure. Part of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive effective performance management to include payroll & operational expenses
  • Oversee procurement and related processes for all operational departments ensuring delivery of financial targets
  • Contribute to the strategic business plan, maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Drive guest experience across the guests' journey and strive to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Deliver Brand and Management company standard operating procedures across all operational departments to support Brand requirement delivery
  • Deliver exceptional H&S standards across the business and meet minimum company expectation
  • Grow Team Engagement and ensure effective communication to all levels of the departments
  • Supervise Recruitment & team retention across operational departments, foster team development and promote a culture of service excellence
  • Manage guest expectation and feedback and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement

This role offers a significant opportunity for career advancement, including potential delegation of General Manager responsibilities and involvement in enhancing the daily guest experience.

What do we need from you?

Experience and a successful track record of managing at Food and Beverage Manager or Operations Manager level within a hotel or hospitality venue, experience within a major global brand is preferred. You will have a strong experience in managing large Conference and Event Operations. Strong leadership skills: Our operations Managers are strong leaders with the ability to motivate and manage our hotel team with extensive experience in creating and implementing strategies that drive success. You’ll have extensive experience of working within structured team environment and able to demonstrate effective influencing skills. You’ll be highly commercially driven, thinking like a customer but always acting like an owner. Highly motivated and enthusiastic and good team player. Experience managing a busy team to improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues, recognising good performance. Most importantly, to be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
