As a Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and promoting all Meetings & Events business within the hotel from an office setting. Acting as a key point of contact and ambassador for the hotel, you will have expert knowledge of all facilities and services, enabling you to provide tailored advice to clients based on their specific requirements. Your role will involve handling all enquiries received via phone, email, or in person, ensuring timely and efficient responses. You will collaborate closely with your team and coordinate with various hotel departments to follow up on leads, support sales efforts, and help achieve departmental targets and individual KPIs. You will coordinate a diverse range of events, including corporate meetings, social gatherings, and weddings, managing logistical details from planning through to execution support. Additionally, you will receive reservations training to complement your role and assist with broader team support duties.
Based in the Holiday Inn Southend you will be part of a family of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock. Located next to London Southend Airport, Holiday Inn Southend boasts 129 modern bedrooms, meeting & events facilities and '1935' our Rooftop restaurant and bar.

Previous events coordination, ideally within a hotel environment will be preferential however not essential.
