A day in the life of… As a Housekeeping Attendant at The View Hotel Eastbourne, you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our guests, ensuring they are looked after and attended to in a timely and professional manner. You will clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms, ensure linen is laundered, and amenities are replenished. You will comply fully with all regulations relating to Health & Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures and COSHH, helping to uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellent customer service and ensuring guests enjoy a first-class, comfortable stay. This is a fixed-term summer role (July–October initially), and flexibility is essential. A commitment to working at least 2–3 shifts per week, including weekends, is required.

- Attention to detail: it’s essential that you have a keen eye for detail to ensure guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Time management skills: able to manage workload effectively to ensure rooms are cleaned within required timeframes.
- Communication skills: able to communicate effectively with guests and team members, including responding to requests and queries.
