A day in the life of… We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Spa & Leisure Facilities Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our spa and leisure areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation, creating a relaxing and welcoming environment for our guests. This role is unlike any other in our hotel and you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintaining cleanliness across spa and leisure areas including poolside, changing rooms, gym, and treatment rooms
  • Ensuring all equipment and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised in line with health & safety standards
  • Carrying out regular checks throughout your shift to maintain high standards
  • Replenishing towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns
  • Supporting the wider leisure team where needed

What do we need from you?

  • Customer Service Skills: You need to have excellent customer service to interact with guests frequently and provide assistance, guidance, and ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
  • Attention to Detail: You’ll need to be detail-oriented and capable of ensuring that the leisure club facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times. Whilst able to identify and address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Communication Skills: You’ll need excellent communication skills, to interact with guests, colleagues, and management on a regular basis and clearly to ensure that guests' needs and requests are met promptly and efficiently. You’ll be able to work well in a team and collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
