A day in the life of…

As Hotel Linen Porter you'll play a vital role in the successful operation of our hotel. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all bed linen, towels, and other linens are clean and available for guests. You'll collect used linens from guest rooms and deliver them to the laundry, where they are washed and dried and return them to the appropriate storage areas once cleaned. You'll also maintain an inventory of linens and report any shortages or damages to management. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and good time management skills.

What do we need from you?

  • Attention to detail: As Hotel Linen Porter you'll be detail-oriented and have the ability to notice even the smallest of imperfections or areas that need cleaning, ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces are clean and free from dirt, grease, and other contaminants.
  • Good communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members. You’ll be able to take instructions and ask questions when necessary to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Ability to work in a team environment: You’ll be able to work well in a team environment and be willing to help other team members as needed with a positive attitude and be able to work under pressure.
