We are seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our team and prepare a range of breakfast dishes according to company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the breakfast buffet, replenishing it as needed throughout breakfast service, and ensuring all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation. The Breakfast Chef will also assist with preparing the kitchen for lunch and dinner service, as well as any conferences or events taking place within the hotel. It is essential that the candidate maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas and adheres to all food safety and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting with a strong knowledge of food preparation and breakfast cooking techniques, and a willingness to continually develop culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including adherence to food safety regulations and proper use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products.
- Good communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
