A day in the life of… As a Public Area Cleaner you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our Guests ensuring they are looked after and attended to in a timely and professional manner. You will clean all public areas including foyers, public restrooms and the back offices, and ensure guest first impressions are met and exceeded. Complying fully with all regulations relating to Health & Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures and COSHH. You will also support the housekeeping team with replenishing supplies and other duties. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas. Distribute clean linen to guest floors and designated storage areas. Replenish linen stocks to ensure housekeeping operations run efficiently. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.

- Attention to detail: it’s essential that you have a keen eye for detail to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Time management skills: in this busy role, must be able to manage their time effectively to ensure that all rooms are cleaned within the allotted timeframe.
- Communication skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with other hotel staff and guests, including receiving and responding to guest requests and inquiries.
