Role Description

The Director of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport, responsible for leading and executing the hotel’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.

This role oversees sales, sets performance goals, and ensures effective sales operations across key segments such as corporate, group, and leisure business.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, identifying new business opportunities, and conducting regular sales calls, site visits, and presentations.

The Director of Sales collaborates with operations and revenue management to create and implement sales plans, forecasts, and promotional initiatives, while monitoring performance against targets.
