A day in the life of…
As our Sales & Reservations Executive, you'll play a key role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences. From handling reservations and group bookings to generating new business opportunities, no two days are the same. You'll work closely with the Sales, Reservations and Front Office teams to maximise occupancy, convert enquiries into bookings, and build lasting relationships with corporate clients and guests.
You'll support sales activity by identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, attending networking events, and assisting with marketing initiatives, including social media and promotional campaigns. You'll also manage guest enquiries, maintain accurate reservation records, monitor room availability, and ensure every booking is handled efficiently from enquiry through to arrival.
What do we need from you?
- Sales and customer service experience: You'll have previous experience in a sales, reservations or hospitality role, with the confidence to build relationships, convert enquiries into bookings, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills: You'll be comfortable communicating with guests, clients and colleagues, both in person and over the phone, providing a professional and friendly experience at every touchpoint.
- Organisation and attention to detail: You'll be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate reservation records, and ensure every booking is handled with precision.
- Commercial awareness: You'll understand how to identify sales opportunities, maximise revenue, and support the hotel's commercial objectives through proactive sales activity and effective booking management.
- A proactive team player: You'll enjoy working collaboratively across departments, be eager to contribute new ideas, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
