A day in the life of…
As Business Development Director you will take a strategic senior role in driving total sales revenues across The Aloft Hotel and The Eastside Rooms Conference & Events Venue. You will account manage a portfolio of corporate accounts and agents across various verticals to drive business and increase share, in line with the hotel and venue’s sales and revenue management strategies. Proactively identify and secure new business across multiple sectors, building a strong pipeline that supports long-term growth. Work proactively to advance each opportunity and maximise conversion. You will support the Director of Sales and Marketing in all aspects of the Sales and Marketing Plan in line with Aimbridge and Marriott brand requirements and systems, and will drive awareness of these exciting new properties on a local, national and international scale.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, you will have significant direct experience of sales management within a similar property. You will have an exceptional understanding of corporate, MICE and Agency segments, and will be passionate about relationship management at all levels, ensuring a relationship first approach is the heart of what you do. We do business on an international stage and so an eagerness to travel at a regional, national and international level is required. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the leadership team on-property and upskilling the team to ensure we maximise revenue at every opportunity. Most importantly, to be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
