You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all maintenance tasks within the hotel, including repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Ensuring that all areas of the property, from guest rooms to common areas, meet the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics.
You will ensure that all systems and equipment in the hotel, such as HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and kitchen equipment, are properly maintained and in good working order. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols to protect guests, staff, and the property itself.
You will conduct regular inspections of the hotel to identify any maintenance issues or potential problems. By proactively addressing maintenance needs, you will prevent costly repairs and downtime, ensuring that the property remains in top condition for guests.
Importantly, you will work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, front office, and food and beverage, to address maintenance issues that may impact the guest experience. By coordinating efforts and communication across departments, you will ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay for guests while maintaining the hotel’s reputation for quality and service.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance role at managerial level with experience in one or more building trades and experience conducting first level fault finding. You will be able to be the hotel Energy Champion and engage with the company and brand standard policies and initiatives at all times.
