As Housekeeping Supervisor you will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager by leading the housekeeping team and being a key member of the Hotel's Management team.
You will display a proactive and innovative approach to skill development and enhancement in your team while accurately assessing needs of the business in terms of staffing and ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained and monitored throughout the hotel.
You'll co-ordinate constructively with both reception and reservations so that the day-to-day operational requirements are successfully delivered.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.
- Attention to detail: it's essential that you have a keen eye for detail to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Management skills: You'll play a key part in training and developing the team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent guest service.
This includes providing regular feedback and coaching to staff members.
- Time management skills: in this busy role, you must be able to manage your time effectively to ensure that all rooms are cleaned within the allotted timeframe.
- Communication skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with other hotel staff and guests, including receiving and responding to guest requests and inquiries.
