As Hotel Maintenance Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and in good working order. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring the hotel's facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and employees. This role is unlike any other in our hotel and you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a first class enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other hotel equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime and guest disruption.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.
- Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other hotel equipment.
- Communication and customer service skills; ability to interact with guests and colleagues.
