As a Commis Chef in our busy hotel, you will work as part of a kitchen team to prepare and cook a range of dishes to menu specifications. You will assist senior chefs with food preparation and ensure that all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation. You will also maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas, follow all food safety and health regulations, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a commis chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting with a strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including adherence to food safety regulations and proper use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products.
  • Good communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion to provide an exceptional guest experience and live through our brand standards.
