We are seeking an Analyst within our private credit team. The successful candidate will support the association’s private credit advocacy and research initiatives, as well as our engagement with member firms. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience of government affairs and financial services while developing their advocacy and communications skills. We are committed to helping you to achieve your professional goals through internal support and training.
Role
- Supporting our government affairs advocacy and engagement with policymakers;
- Updating members on the Association’s activity via our website, newsletters and social media channels;
- Assisting our research and thought leadership initiatives, including data gathering, analysis and presentation of findings;
- Developing marketing materials and maintaining contact lists;
- Helping to organise and publicise our events;
- Providing secretariat services to member working groups.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum University degree with a 2:1;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability;
- Enthusiasm and a keenness to learn more about alternative investment funds, financial services and regulatory processes;
- The ability to absorb and organise information and communicate it in an accessible manner;
- Good organisational, research and project management skills;
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English;
- Ability to use design software as well as audio and video editing programmes (training and support would be provided);
- The ability to adapt to and fit in with our culture, including a willingness to tackle a broad range of work and collaborate as part of the broader team;
- The ability to work under pressure and to represent the Association professionally and positively, both internally and externally.
This is a full-time role (3-month probationary period) to be based in London. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required. Benefits after probation include private health insurance, life insurance, company pension, discretionary annual bonus and annual gym membership.
