The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, processed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently to both UK and export customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Checking quantities and products prior to dispatch
  • Completing order documentation including packing specs and consignment notes
  • Processing and despatching orders using internal IT systems
  • Booking finished goods into stock
  • Replenishing picking locations
  • Processing customer collections and returns
  • Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift trucks (including Reach)
  • Carrying out stock checks and cycle counts (perpetual inventory)
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and yard
  • Communicating with internal teams to provide order updates

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Valid Reach Forklift Truck licence with practical operating experience
  • Experience using barcode scanners and warehouse systems
  • Experience with stock control and inventory counting
  • Confident with IT systems and data entry
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, reliable, and safety-focused attitude

Hours of work will be 39 hours per week, working nights Sunday 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Wednesday 10pm - 6am & Thursday 10pm - 5am. Hourly pay rate - £13.50 plus 25% shift allowance.
