Our Client is a dynamic organisation with an established team and low staff turnover. Due to a number of new contract wins, they are looking for a couple of experienced Account Managers / Project Managers with solid print production knowledge. As the Account Manager, you will be based from home; however, you must be willing to travel to client offices based in Nottingham 1 day a week.
Responsibilities for this Account Manager role:
- Oversee and facilitate procurement, production, shipping, and billing for the client’s jobs and projects; be a vital link between the client, production, and suppliers to ensure all terms of the contract and engagement are delivered flawlessly.
- Build successful partnerships with the client business leads and key decision makers to increase and expand revenue opportunities by identifying production solutions and evaluating current spend.
- Proactively negotiate with new and existing suppliers to drive down costs and deliver process efficiencies for the client. Continually improve margin and profitability on all jobs.
- Prepare and oversee the status of all client jobs and/or projects, confirm that all jobs are delivered on-time, and expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Skills needed for this Account Manager / Project Manager role:
- Must have solid print knowledge (digital, litho, etc).
- Previous experience working with a Print manufacturer or Print Management business.
- Direct client interfacing experience.
- Experience working with suppliers and vendors to negotiate job costs and schedules.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, prioritisation and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and oversee operational functions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with senior level professionals.
- Highly proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel.
- Commutable to Nottingham 1 day a week.
